This is my first "real" entry on my new blog and it feels a little sneaky as I haven't "officially" stopped rosebarnett. I'm doing Mosman market on Saturday April 3 under my old name but after that it's time for my new identity.
I'm really excited to have been selected as a "Fabulous Find" for Mathilda's Market in May (that's quite a mouthful). I've never been to a Mathilda's but I've heard great things about it and the lovely Sarah of Gifts Created can't speak highly enough of it.
So I've been ordering frames from the super fabulous Corban and Blair to go with the wall art I should be busy making! Allow me a shameless plug: Corban and Blair frames are expensive HOWEVER they are an Australian-owned company, their frames are only made from plantation timber (ie no old-growth forests chopped down to make pretty pictures on your walls!). Their frames are also certified carbon-neutral. So really, unless you're fairly hand with a mitre box or you get your art framed professionally it's hard to go past them. (They are also lovely to deal with!)
Ideally I would insert a photograph of said frames, however my camera is currently on holidays with Mr Neat in Alice Springs. (He's working). So instead I'll put in a Mathilda's Market graphic.
